The Butler County Engineer's Office announced a road closure in Oxford for two adjacent culvert pipe replacements.

According to officials, Stillwell Beckett Road will close between Stephenson Road and Kehr Road on Wednesday, Aug. 9.

Officials say the road will be closed to all through traffic and is tentatively scheduled to reopen on Tuesday, Aug. 22.

Crews will begin construction on the culvert just west of the railroad tracks before moving to the nearby culvert on the east side.

During the closure, a detour for southeast-bound traffic on Stillwell Beckett Road will be available via south on Harley Road and east on Stephenson Road. Northwest-bound traffic will reverse this route.
